I sit down on my birthday and I put together a pod. There’s some numerical inspirations and some musical exploration. I reminisce about past musical inspirations, influences and experiences. Triggers from old audio clips remind me of my childhood…heavy thoughts for a birthday. So blar blar. …and yeah!
The Ickyone Podcast
The first part of this pod I talk with Pedro, Bri Guy and Lucas A. They call in from a five pin bowling alley some where in Canada. While on a snowboard trip in the back country doing it like a boss. I chat with them back and forth and I bowl some bowls with them and have a couple drinks. Then I release a last minute Free-Jam and yeah. We come back down from that and I chat with my wife about what is the right amount of face time for our kids video games and stuff. We wrap the show working out the theme for the game Story Pass.
The Ickyone Podcast
Uncle Nelsie and I start out telling stories about our dogs that have passed on and yeah! Then I do a little drum Jam on the trap set with a buddy that stopped by (we communicated in drum) and then back to it…We talk about more dog stories and into a Free-Jam. Then we talk about some dog stories that have to do with Christmas and stuff. Then we talk about some other dogs and after all that we get some alcohol together and take a shot together for old Tannonbomb. We talk about whether you should get another dog right away? Then we say farewell as we wrap the show with a song by Jim Morrison and The Doors. Farewell, Tannonbomb.
The Ickyone Podcast
This first podcast of 2017 has a three part Free-Jam. I took a rhythm that Bri-Guy digitally recorded and sent me, and added my own tracks to that. I did three recordings of a live Free-Jam using Bri-Guys digital recorded rhythms. I also explain how my Christmas and New Years break went down, and how me and my family were sick through the entire time.

Part two with Luke from the Shire CSA. We start out listening to the sounds of the Chihera Family Marimba Band. Then into some conversation with Luke about the final first Friday of the season and some of the issues they had along the way. Then Luke lets us in on a murder that happened near his property in an act of rage. After another listening experience from CFMB, Luke then compares life to a four part novel series. We talk abut trying to make it in America today. Luke and I get into a bit about the ups and downs of managing your life and a business all on the premises. Then we talk about whether to leave it all behind or to forge on and follow the dream. We wrap the show riffin’ it up and just doing some free flow conversation. For your listening pleasure.
The Ickyone Podcast
Happy Thanksgiving! The show starts out with an African band from Zimbabwe that performed at the Shire CSA final First Friday back in September. I captured this performance for your listening enjoyment. I then talk with Luke from the Shire CSA. We start out talking about our Thanksgiving plans and a couple quick Thanksgiving stories, then right into some political jargon. Luke gives me some podcast advice then Boom! another Free-Jam experience from Zimbabwe that has a nice vibe from that early fall evening at the Shire CSA in Fort Collins. I try to play some story pass but no one wants to play. Which leads into some philosophy talk and break down of life and its many facets. Luke talks about considering going in a new direction with the CSA and we talk about doing things we don’t want to do and how holidays can be sort of tough sometimes. Then we close the evening with a little bit of blar blar…

We talk about hunting season coming up and hunting we’ve done in the past. We talk about some Norwegian cuisine and some other smart foods.
